Tomlinson to Host Children's Expo on April 17 in Holland, PA
State Senator Tommy Tomlinson (R-Bucks) is inviting area residents to take
part in his 8th annual Children's Expo, which will be held from 11 a.m. to 2
p.m. on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at Council Rock High School South in Holland.
This free event is intended to educate and entertain children of all ages and
their families. More than 50 vendors will be on hand to provide information on
programs, services, events, and opportunities available throughout Bucks County
and Pennsylvania.
Among those scheduled to appear is Sesame Street’s Abby Cadabby, Trenton
Thunder’s Boomer and the PA State Police Helicopter. Free entertainment will be
provided by the Franklin Institute, Septa’s K-9 Unit, the
Nelsons-Magicians/Illusionists and Let’s Play Today.
"The annual Children’s Expo is a fun day for children and a great way for
parents to learn more about programs that are available to benefit their
families," Tomlinson said. "I hope that many of my constituents will join us for
an entertaining and educational day."
Funding has been provided by Comcast to support this event.
